Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how eStoreBridge collects, uses and protects information when merchants, staff and customers use the eStoreBridge website, applications and related services.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use eStoreBridge, we may process information including your name, email address, telephone number, account credentials, business name and description, business contact information, country, administrative area, city or locality, postal code and street address.
When the service is used for ordering, we may also process information associated with an order, such as the user or customer associated with the order, products ordered, prices, payment status, fulfilment information, timestamps and customer notes.
Our applications may use device identifiers or device notification tokens when notification functionality is enabled.
2. Account credentials
Passwords are stored using password hashes rather than as plain-text passwords. Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials confidential.
3. How we use information
We use information as necessary to provide and operate eStoreBridge, including to:
- create and manage accounts and businesses;
- authenticate users and control access;
- process and manage orders;
- provide merchant administration, inventory, purchasing, accounting and related business functions;
- process or record payments;
- provide notifications where enabled;
- provide support and respond to requests;
- maintain security, reliability and audit records;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Payments
Where online card payment functionality is enabled, payment processing may be provided by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. eStoreBridge does not directly receive full card numbers through its Stripe checkout workflow. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy and security practices.
5. Merchants and customer information
eStoreBridge provides software to independent businesses. A merchant using eStoreBridge may process information about its own customers through the service. The merchant is responsible for its own business practices and for meeting applicable obligations concerning the customer information it controls.
6. Sharing of information
We may disclose information to service providers where this is necessary to operate the service, process payments, host infrastructure, provide communications, maintain security or comply with law.
We do not sell personal information as a business model.
7. Data retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and meet security, accounting, tax, legal and dispute-resolution requirements.
Some transaction or accounting records may need to be retained after an account is closed where applicable law requires it.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information.
You may contact us to make a privacy request.
For account deletion instructions, visit our Account deletion page.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
